The website https://www.sylni.org/en (hereinafter referred to as the "Site") is created upon the request of the Charitable Organization "Charitable Foundation 'SYLNI'" (hereinafter referred to as the "Site Owner") to provide information about the Site Owner, its free and confidential assistance to people who have experienced sexual violence during the war. By visiting or using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms of Use"). If you do not agree to the Terms of Use, please do not use the Site. The Terms of Use may be changed periodically and become effective upon posting on the Site. Please review the Terms of Use periodically for any such changes.

The Site is designed for users who are 18 years of age or older. If you are under 18 years of age, please do not use this Site.

ATTENTION! The Site is for informational purposes only and does not replace the need for consultation with a medical professional.

You agree that the use of the Site is at your own risk. The Site Owner may, at any time and at its discretion, add, modify, or remove materials from this Site. We make every effort to provide accurate and up-to-date information on this Site, but we make no warranties, commitments, and do not make any representations regarding its accuracy, timeliness, quality, completeness, or suitability for a particular purpose. The Site Owner disclaims any warranties expressed in explicit form or by implication, to the extent permitted by law. Accessing and using this Site does not require registration and/or authorization or the immediate provision of personal data. In some cases, you may, at your discretion, provide some personal data to the Site Owner. We want to give you a clear understanding of how your data is used and how you can protect their confidentiality. This document has been prepared in accordance with the requirements of the Law of Ukraine dated June 1, 2010, No. 2297-VI "On the Protection of Personal Data," which defines the operator's policy on personal data processing. The key concepts used in this policy correspond to the definitions given in the current legislation.

   2.1. DATA COLLECTION: WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND ON WHAT BASIS? 
 

At your discretion, if you have any questions regarding the information posted on the Site, you can contact us with such questions by filling out the feedback form. To do this, you may provide the following information: name, email address, and any other information in the message that you decide to provide to the Site Owner. Please note that according to the current data protection legislation, your personal data may be collected or processed if: you have given us your consent for processing. To avoid doubts, you always have the right to withdraw your consent at any time; or it is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party; or it is required by law. We will process your personal data only for the specified, explicit, and lawful purposes, and we will not process your personal data in a way that is incompatible with these purposes. One such purpose may be to improve your experience when visiting our Site. When you contact the Site Owner, your messages are stored for the purpose of providing the fastest and most comprehensive response.

The purpose of collecting personal data is to provide answers to questions posed by Site Users.

We may disclose your personal information only as necessary and solely for the specific purposes outlined above in accordance with the current data protection legislation. For processing by third parties on behalf of the Site Owner, we may transfer personal data to affiliated entities of the Site Owner and other trusted companies and individuals for processing on behalf of the Site Owner (e.g., for security purposes); such processing is carried out in accordance with our instructions, the requirements of data protection legislation, and other applicable confidentiality and security requirements. As required by law, we may disclose personal data to law enforcement and investigative authorities, as well as other authorized bodies based on grounds provided by the current legislation of Ukraine.

 

   2.4. LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES 
 

These Terms apply only to this Site and do not extend to services and platforms provided by other companies or individuals (including products or sites that may appear in search results), as well as other resources linked from our Site, such as social media. Additionally, these Terms do not cover the information handling practices of third-party companies and organizations that advertise our services or employ technologies like cookies, pixel tags, etc., to display relevant ads. Exercise caution and review the privacy policies applicable to third-party websites and services you use.

 

   2.5. "DO NOT TRACK" FUNCTIONALITY AND SIMILAR MECHANISMS
 

The "Do Not Track" feature is an additional browser option that allows users to inform all visited websites about their refusal to be tracked in online behavior. This option can be configured by the user within the browser. Once configured, the "Do Not Track" request will be sent when accessing the website, and user activity will not be tracked.
